G-ma Jensen January 31, 2009

We lost our Sweet G-ma on January 31, 2009.  We will miss her dearly.

Marybell Glenna Kneedy Jensen 1929 ~ 2009 KAYSVILLE/FARMINGTON-Mary bell Glenna Kneedy Jensen passed away Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009. She was born August 1, 1929 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming to Sara Beard and John L. Kneedy. Her family moved to Utah in 1937, and she has lived in the Kaysville / Farmington area since 1944. Marybell married Alan S. Jensen on Sept. 8, 1950; they were married for 42 years until his untimely death in 1992. She worked for Clover Club Foods for 47years until her retirement in 1996, and was a long time member of Executive Womens International. She volunteered at Safe Harbor Crisis Center for several years. Marybell was preceded in death by her husband, Alan, parents, one sister, two daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. She is survived by Ray Barkley (soul friend); daughter Debra Jensen Sparks (Mike); sons Scott, Wes (Rebecca), Darell (Anne Smith), also Stephany Jensen; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, Lawrence, and sisters, Sara Joan and Loriene. Mom always had a smile for you, and you knew exactly where you stood (with love). She was an excellent seamstress and loved to crochet and family members were recipients of these talents. She loved to travel, attend plays, and loved life to the very end. Mom can finally rest pain free. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the service. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
