November 27, 2008 Thanksgiving

We are always lucky to have Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma Austin's house. I caught this great picture of Grandma feeding Sam her dessert.  Thanks again Grandma for another wonderful Thanksgiving.

November 11, 2008 Baby Lia

Mindy got a great picture of Amelia smiling. She is now 2 months old and she is getting some chunk on her. The girls just adore her. They want to hold her all the time and Grace will hold her for hours and sing to her. It's so cute I think I need another one :)

Mullet wig Nov 4, 2008

The girls were playing with the mullet wig from Halloween.  Sam really looks cute with a mullet.  We had to add a bow to dress it up.

Seattle Special Olympics Nov 2-3 2008

On Sunday November 2nd we were invited by our (NW) partner Seattle Res office to volunteer at the Special Olympic Bowling event in Federal Way Washington. When we first arrived we were greeted by Jan Battles a (NW) Sales Performance Manager who took us to the bowling alley to begin our day of service. Our duties, along with our NW colleges, were to gather the athletes for award ceremonies, keep score for the athletes, and of course to cheer them on as they competed for the GOLD! On Monday November 3rd we were picked up from our hotel by Seattle Reservation’s Call Center Director, Dolly Yeager, who took us on a tour the Seattle Res office. As we toured the office we were able to meet some of our new friends both management and front line who treated us with warmth and great hospitality. We were honored to represent Salt Lake City in visiting our Seattle partner city and were excited to welcome them to the New Delta family. We all felt they are a great fit and truly represent Delta style service and hospitality from the heart! If you would like to volunteer please visit www.specialolympics.org

Halloween 2008

Grace had a Halloween party at school on October 30.  They had the kids parade around all the class rooms showing off there costumes.  Halloween night we went Trick or Treating with friends and then we surprised Mindy and Nate at there house.  After Mindy's house we went to a Halloween party at Uncle Nick's house.  It was a long night but it was a lot of fun.
